Project Description: MIA Airport Cargo Facility. Miami, FL
Complete job ownership totaling approximately $19 million
Expansion of cargo facility and realignment of medium speed aircraft taxiways. Managed construction of several large commercial cargo facilities and taxiway expansion. Scope of work included construction of taxiways, concrete hardstands, warehouse construction, underground utility installation, and taxiway lighting.

Graniterock Co., PAVEX Construction Division. General Contractor. Redwood City, CA
Project Description: SFIA Airport Taxiway Expansions. San Francisco, CA
Complete job ownership of several contracts totaling approximately $12 million per year.
Expansion and realignment of taxiways, hardstands and terminals throughout the Airport. Scope of work included construction of asphalt taxiways, PCC hardstands, larger terminal construction, underground utility installation, taxiway lighting, and FAA Localizer upgrades. Supervised subcontractors performing fiber optic and jet fuel line installations.

Project Description: US Highway 101. San Mateo County, CA
Rubberized asphalt overlay of 56 lane miles on major state highway. Part of a test team using developmental mix design for continued use within state’s highway system. Responsibilities: Worked nightly with State DOT to ensure quality control involving stringent temperature and mix design requirements.

Ghilotti Brothers Construction, Inc.. General Contractor. San Rafael, CA
Project Description: SFIA Inbound/Outbound Ramps. San Francisco, CA
Expansion of US 101 at SFIA. Approximate two year project in order to increase the airport’s traffic capacity coinciding with the new International Terminal and BART access. Work included widening of existing US 101, construction of bridge approaches and abutments, and construction of all inbound and outbound ramps.
Responsibilities: Tracking quantities of work that have been completed and in progress. Estimating upcoming activities and establishing crew and equipment needs. Isolating conflicts between the contract drawings and existing field
conditions. Establishing pay quantities and working with the inspectors to verify their accuracy.

C.R. Jeffries Construction, Inc.. General Contractor. Yuba City, CA
Project Description: Yuba Retail Center. Yuba City, CA
Prime Contractor for site work and development of 18 acre retail mall development. $3.85 MM commercial project with state and city roadway improvements. On-site work included earth moving, paving, signal work, and all underground utilities. Off-site work included an addition of three lanes to existing city road, widening four corners of a state highway intersection, extending and upgrading of all underground utilities and signal work.

Project Description: White Lake Ranch. Reno, NV
Sub-contractor for site work of sixty-eight unit, $ 1.2 million, residential sub division. We performed all underground utility installation, earth moving, base, paving, and finish items. Also performed a “bore and jack” of a 10 inch water main under U.S. 395 in Nevada.

Developed estimating skills including productivity and market analysis, crew determinations and enhanced software usage. Estimated and was successful low bidder on a wide range of public and private heavy engineering projects.

C.R. Jeffries Construction, Inc.. General Contractor. Yuba City,CA
Estimated a wide variety of underground and earth moving projects ranging from $40,000 to $4,000,000 in both the public and private sectors. Incorporated Agtek and custom computer systems as basis for estimated quantities.
